Ever since backup has been about and the original Windows backup system was released, Windows backup alternatives have been sweeping the net due to the awful reception the default system received. Therefore, nowadays the internet is rammed with Windows backup alternatives, and whereas they were once seen as suitable replacements, that’s not quite the situation anymore, in fact it’s the opposite. The programs which flooded the internet when the original Windows backup program was released were better at the time, however now the internet is also full of very good backup systems which are unlike the Windows backup system. This means that whilst the Windows backup alternatives we’ve seen over the last few years are much better than the original Windows backup program, there are now a lot of superior backup systems out there. Therefore, the best advice for Windows backup users is to steer clear of Windows backup and similar systems altogether because completely independent backup systems are far more advanced and therefore will be better. What’s good for Windows users is that when these independent backup vendors release their systems, they tend to be Windows compatible anyway so it shouldn’t be too difficult to find a real decent Windows backup alternative.
